Making Wands

Here's a pix of the kids making wands at McKenzee's Hogwarts/Harry Potter party.

Snow in September!!!

Yes, you read the posting correctly! This was what we woke up to on Saturday, September 29th. By the late afternoon this had all turned into rain, but it was snowing and we had to do almost all of McKenzee's friend bday party indoors. The kids still had plenty of fun. I will be posting more pictures of the party later. Just wanted to show all of you how fun Utah seasons can be, especially when we don't expect them. The kids were glued to the window, and Connor kept saying, "Let's go snowmobiling!" I have to admit it was so fun watching their excitement.

Sugar Cookies...YUM!

Eric told the kids one of his favorite Sunday activities growing up was making cookies with his mom. After Connor saw Bree making cookies, we only were able to hold off for a little while before making our own. Thanks Jan and Bree for inspiring us with this fun activity. And thanks to my 2nd mom (mother-in-law) for allowing us to mess up her kitchen making them!

Learning to back flip

Connor and Taylor have both mastered the art of back flipping on the trampoline. I must admit my heart stops working while little Connor goes flying backwards, only to begin beating again after he lands each and every time. Here are a few pictures of Eric working with the boys. You will have to excuse the camerawoman she's a little out of practice on these action shots.

The entire Webb Family

Didn't this picture turn out so adorable! Teisha did
a great job. This is the whole clan. However, there
will be a new addition to the family in February. Our
cute Janny is expecting!

Couch Potatoes!

Here the kids are making couch potatoes for family night. We made these to remind us how to use our time wisely instead of foolishly. We made them as silly as we possibly could.

Four wheelin' in Mantua! Yeehaw!!!

We took an ATV trip to Mantua a few weekends ago, and Taylor got a little adventurous going down a steep, rocky incline. As the picture shows he was unable to control his ATV from rolling. He was uninjured, but we can't say the same thing for his machine. He broke the front handle brake clean off. Eric and Taylor have since repaired it to better than new condition (by purchasing a new one online and installing it).

Here's a picture of the top of the peak. The other direction shows all of Willard Bay. This is Connor on Eric's machine, Taylor with the red helmet behind him. Grandma Owen in the middle, me in the middle and McKenzee on the back of my machine. We plan on taking another trip up there to see all the beautiful fall colors and we'll post a picture of the Ben Lomond side peak.

Park City

In celebration of Connor's 4th birthday, we spent the weekend at our condo in Park City. We took Eric's 'lil brother, Daren with us and Grandpa and Grandma Owens. We went to the Olympic Park and Eric rode the bobsled run for a 2nd time and we gave Daren his first run for his birthday. We did the zipline, the only stainless steel alpine slide in the US, and really enjoyed watching the real athletes train. Connor's favorite was the freestyle skiiers sliding down the ramp, doing tricks in the air and landing in the swimming pool. It was so much fun! I would highly recommend visiting it, the museum was awesome, too.
